COVID-19 Update
Masks for patients are now optional.
Temporary COVID-19 mitigation measures put into place by the state and county have expired. Though no longer an emergency, the virus is still circulating, and health officials recommend keeping up to date on vaccines and testing when exposed or experiencing symptoms. If you test positive, isolate (for at least five days with improving symptoms), mask around others, and find out if you are eligible for treatment as soon as possible. You should also wear a mask if have been exposed or have conditions that make you more likely to get very sick from COVID-19. For more information, visit SoCoEmergency’s Coronavirus Response.
Infection control has always been a high priority for our practice. Our infection control processes are designed to provide quality dental care that is both safe and comfortable.
Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and both the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies and our local Sonoma County Department of Health Services so that we are up to date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.
To help protect our patients and staff-
Our office features central MERV-13 air filtration, along with individual HEPA air filtration in each private treatment room, along with waterline filtration.
We have hand sanitizer available when you enter the office. Face masks for patients are no longer required, but are still good for extra protection in public. Face masks are available upon request. Our staff is still masked for your protection.
Our staff is fully vaccinated and boosted, and medical-grade N95 masks are worn at all times in the private treatment rooms.
We look forward to seeing you and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call Monica at 707-546-1166, or email us at atfernandezdds@comcast.net.
Thank you for your interest in infection control. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to the opportunity to serve you.
Sincerely,
Anthony T. Fernandez, DDS
